.eu supports TEDx Brussels

Brussels, 30 October 2012 - .eu, the Internet extension for business, organisations and individuals throughout Europe, will partner with TEDx for its Brussels event on 12 November 2012 at the Bozar in Brussels, Belgium.

".eu is the Internet extension of choice for many innovative companies and organisations across the European Union," said the General Manager of the .eu registry, EURid, Marc Van Wesemael. "The TED community is all about innovation so we are pleased to be involved with this inspirational ideas exchange event for the second consecutive year."

The TEDx programme brings organisations, communities and individuals together, under the banner "ideas worth spreading", to spark discussion and stimulate dialogue at the local level.

This year, the TEDx Brussels event gathers speakers from various backgrounds, including computing and biotechnology, with talks centring on the theme of "Bits, Atoms, Neurons, Genes". Brussels has been welcoming TEDx since 2009. A complete list of guest speakers is available at www.tedxbrussels.eu.
