.eu speaks at Salon des micro-entreprises event in Paris
Brussels, 4 October 2012 – The .eu registry EURid is attending the Salon des micro-entreprises business start-up trade fair in Paris, France from 9-11 October 2012 to continue to raise .eu’s visibility among French small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
EURid’s Liaison Manager for France, Caroline Goffin, will be hosting a daily seminar about choosing the right domain name for your website. In addition, EURid is exhibiting at stand D3 along with AMEN, one of the most active French .eu accredited registrars, where staff will be available to answer questions about .eu and register .eu domain names.

In France, .eu domain name registrations grew by 13% in the year to Q2 2012 and there are currently more than 337 000 .eu domain names registered to French businesses, organisations and individuals. The .eu extension is ideally suited for businesses with cross-border operations, or aspirations, by enabling companies to express the fact that they are open for business in other European Union markets.
