Help Ukrainian youth to find jobs in IT
The situation in Ukraine remains difficult with thousands of Ukrainians migrating to different countries across the globe. This unprecedented forced migration is difficult for everyone, but particularly for young people, as they will need to re-structure their future. Digital tools, as well as digital skills, can make their integration in new countries easier and facilitate their return to the country once the conflict is closed.
EURid is pleased to share the Youth IGF´s call for action.
The Youth IGF’s mission is to develop special program to assist young displaced people from Ukraine. For example, they are adapting the Cybersecurity Skills programme to fit young Ukrainians in order to assist them with a new skill set and ease the integration to their new host countries.
This will create a pool of young Ukrainians, looking for special internship/recruitment opportunities. Should you have a job/internship position available, please contact Youth IGF secretariat, who will help you with posting the job application and reaching the right people.
The initiative Youth IGF for Ukraine! #YouthigfActs, will be launched with an online event on 11 April at 5.30 PM (CET), with Marina Kaljurand`s, former Estonian Foreign Minister, current Member of the European Parliament, opening statement and testimonials from Ukrainian youth.
