EURid gains new member with UEAPME
Brussels, 28 June 2013 - After adding four new members in April, EURid, the .eu registry strengthens its Strategic Committee with one more. Welcome, UEAPME, the European Association of Craft, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.
"Research has shown that European SMEs often choose a .eu domain name to boost their online presence," EURid General Manager Marc Van Wesemael says. "Adding UEAPME as a member signals our commitment to further make .eu the top internet extension for European businesses."
UEAPME Director of Enterprise Policy and External Relations Luc Hendrickx agrees. "The strong .eu brand offers European Small and Medium Enterprises a gateway to better visibility, ICT adoption and increased competitiveness. Together with EURid, UEAPME is committing to build an accesible European online identity for SME's."
