It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jérôme Chauvin

Jérôme was a valued member of our Strategic Committee since 2015, where he represented Business Europe.

Jérôme graduated from Nancy University, Lancaster University and the College of Europe in Bruges in private law, business law and EU law.

Since 2014 Jérôme was the Deputy Director General at Business Europe, the leading advocate for growth and competitiveness at European level, where he was responsible for the overall coordination of political strategy. Before joining Business Europe, he gained experience in the Brussels policy and political landscape working for the College of Europe and at the European Commission.

The knowledge and experience he generously shared with all his colleagues have been invaluable for EURid. His contributions and unmatched insights will be truly missed.

We are very appreciative of Jérôme’s friendship and commitment over the years and we would like to extend our deepest condolences to his loved ones.
