How the competition works

The competition consists of a nomination phase, followed by a finalist selection process, public voting, and evaluation by an independent jury. Following an internal review of all eligible nominations, the top finalists in each category are selected and announced. Public voting and jury assessments then determine the winners.

This approach combines community engagement with expert evaluation, ensuring a fair and balanced selection process that recognises excellence across a wide range of sectors and website types.

The competition follows a multi-stage selection process designed to ensure a fair and balanced evaluation. During the nomination period, which runs from 1 to 30 September, all submitted websites are reviewed internally against the eligibility criteria set out in the Terms and Conditions.

Following this review, the top five finalists in each category are announced on 6 October and opened to public voting. Public voting remains open until 31 October, while an independent jury conducts its assessment in parallel. The final winners are determined based on a combination of public support and expert evaluation and will be announced online on 4 November.

The competition features five website categories that reflect the diversity, creativity, and impact of today's .eu, .ею, and .ευ websites, recognising excellence across a broad range of sectors and online initiatives.
