The 2026 .eu Web Awards open in one week!

The countdown is on! In just one week, on 1 September, nominations for the 2026 .eu Web Awards will open.

The awards are back to celebrate outstanding .eu websites that showcase creativity, innovation and impact across Europe. The competition will once again take place entirely online, from nominations through to the announcement of the five category winners.

🔵 Key dates

1–30 September: Nominations open

Nominations will be reviewed by EURid against a set of eligibility and quality criteria. They will remain private during the review stage, with five finalists selected in each category.

6 October: Finalists announced

The five finalists in each of the five categories will be revealed online.

6–31 October: Public voting and jury evaluation

Public voting will open, alongside an evaluation by an independent jury. The combined results will determine the winners.

4 November: Winners announced

One winner will be selected in each category based on a 50/50 combination of public votes and jury scores. If there is a tie, the jury score will prevail.

🟢 Prizes worth celebrating

Each category winner will receive:

• €5,000 towards a digital marketing campaign
• A professionally produced testimonial video
• Digital winner’s badges for use on their website and promotional materials
