EURid participates at All Digital Weeks 2024
EURid joined the European All Digital Weeks initiative for the fifth year in a row. The ALL DIGITAL Weeks campaign is one of the major pan-European awareness-raising campaigns on digital skills for inclusion, empowerment, and employment.
On 14 May, EURid, together with Registro.it, organized the event "Internet che awwwentura!" in Pisa, Italy, where secondary school students took an educational trip to the Museo degli Strumenti per il Calcolo (MSC). In the first part, they received a lecture on "The basics of the Internet and domain names," while in the second part, they took a guided tour of the museum.
On 27 May, we also organized an online session on cybersecurity, "Because We Care, We Are Cybersecurity Aware," for a class of high school students from the National Art High School "Tzanko Lavrenov" in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
"By participating in All Digital Weeks, EURid highlights its commitment to a united digital Europe, fostering digital skills among young Europeans, which are essential for their personal and professional development and for helping them excel in the increasingly digital world," said Plamena Argent, Liaison Manager at EURid.
EURid’s continuous involvement in European initiatives underscores its dedication to ensuring that all European citizens, particularly the youth, are prepared to navigate and succeed in a trustworthy digital landscape.
