Call for proposals: Join the 2026 Universal Acceptance Day

ICANN invites the global Internet community to join the fourth annual Universal Acceptance (UA) Day, taking place from 25 March to 30 May 2026. The event will feature local, national, and regional activities aimed at promoting Universal Acceptance and supporting a truly global, multilingual #Internet4All.

First introduced in 2023, UA Day mobilizes communities and organisations worldwide to champion Universal Acceptance – a technical best practice that ensures all valid domain names and email addresses, regardless of script, language, or character length, can be used equally across all Internet-enabled applications, devices, and systems.

EURid encourages individuals and organisations to submit proposals for events or initiatives that reflect the spirit of UA and promote multilingualism online. Whether it is a workshop, seminar, webinar, or campaign, your contribution can help create a more inclusive, equitable, and culturally diverse digital world.
