Measures to support accessibility

EURid is taking the following measures to ensure that eurid.eu is as accessible as possible:

• Continuously improving website accessibility following biennial audits (including testing by visually impaired people);
• Providing accessibility training for our staff.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define the requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA.

The audit has demonstrated that the WAVE Chrome / Firefox extension and Chrome Accessibility Developer Tools work well with the website content as accessibility tools (though this list is not exhaustive), as well as the following screen readers: JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver (also not exhaustive).
