Supporting the next generation of Internet governance leaders at EuroSSIG 2026

From 26 July to 1 August 2026, the 20th edition of the European Summer School on Internet Governance (EuroSSIG) took place in Meissen, Germany. Bringing together fellows and faculty from around the world in a multistakeholder learning environment, the programme explored the many dimensions of Internet governance.

As an organisation committed to supporting a stable, secure, and resilient Internet, EURid was pleased to contribute to this milestone edition through the expertise of two colleagues.

Exploring the management of Top-Level Domains

Philip Struyf, EURid's Program Manager in Abuse Prevention, joined Peter Koch (DENIC) for a session on the management of Top-Level Domains (TLDs), discussing the role of TLD operators and the importance of reliable and trusted domain name infrastructures within the Internet ecosystem.

Building confidence in multistakeholder discussions

EURid's Business Operations Manager, Hans Seeuws, led an interactive workshop,"Speaking up: How to deliver strong interventions", where participants explored practical techniques for communicating effectively and contributing with confidence in multistakeholder discussions.

Learning, sharing and collaborating

For 20 years, EuroSSIG has provided a forum for learning, discussion, and collaboration among current and future Internet governance professionals. Through lectures, workshops, discussions, and networking opportunities, participants gain valuable insights into the many dimensions of Internet governance.
