EURid Supports UA Day, Empowering Internet Accessibility Globally

EURid is pleased to confirm its participation in UA Day, an initiative organized by ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) and the community-led Universal Acceptance Steering Group (UASG). UA Day, scheduled to be held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Belgrade on March 28, is poised to be an essential event focusing on Universal Acceptance (UA) awareness, adoption, academic, and technical training sessions.

Universal Acceptance is a critical aspect of internet accessibility, ensuring that all domain names and email addresses, regardless of script or language, are accepted and recognized by online systems and applications. EURid recognizes the significance of UA in advancing internet accessibility and is committed to supporting initiatives like UA Day.

On 24 March, our Industry Relations Manager, Regina Fuchsova, will be part of the panel discussion on UA in local communities from 11.45-13.15, which will be live streamed here.
