The 2nd edition of CAC commentated and categorized .EU decisions is now available

8 Feb. 2017

After 4 years and more than 200 new ADR decisions on the .eu TLD, the CAC has recently launched the 2nd Edition of the Overview of CAC Panel Views on Selected Questions of the Alternative Dispute Resolution for .eu Domain Name Disputes. The overview acts as an initial aid and guide to parties of .eu domain ADR proceedings with the goal of assisting in the drafting of argumentation. More specifically, it identifies consensus views and minority opinions among the CAC panel concerning recurring questions.

The five major topics covered in the overview are procedural questions, relevant rights of complainants, legitimate rights and interests of respondents, identity or confusing similarity of domain name registrations and bad faith registrations.

If you are seeking to initiate an ADR proceeding, this overview will help you by providing a contextual understanding of the panel’s views.
