.eu supports e-commerce at IV Targi eHandlu

11 April 2013

Brussels, 11 April 2013 – To encourage e-commerce in Poland, EURid, the .eu registry, will attend IV Targi eHandlu (the eCommerce Poland trade fair) in Poznań, Poland, on 25 April 2013.

During the event, EURid will partner with Polish accredited registrar NetArt, so that visitors who want to register a .eu domain name will be able to check if it’s available on the spot at the NetArt stand (stand number A9). They will also be able to register the name by means of a special voucher which includes a comprehensive internet service package offered at a promotional price.

All participants and visitors are invited to attend the ‘eCoffees’, which are unique opportunities to relax and share information on the latest e-commerce developments and industry trends.

IV Targi eHandlu attracts over 100 exhibitors and more than 1500 visitors each year. This year’s keynote speaker is internet entrepreneur Ray Nolan, who will talk about global ecommerce and having courage to think and plan globally when launching your own ecommerce project.

EURid’s stand will be located next to the main presentation stage, in the chill out zone.

Poland holds fifth place in the top 10 countries with the most .eu registrations. As of Q4 2012, the country had 237 326 registered .eu domain names.

EURid’s Liaison Manager for Poland, Aneta Szczepankiewicz, will be available for interviews at EURid’s stand. For more information, please contact [email protected].
