Another reforestation project undertaken by EURid

24 April 2015

Brussels, 24 April 2015 - This week .eu joined forces with the environmental Spanish non-profit organisation FAPAS once again, with the goal to cap its CO2 emissions.

A number of fruit trees were planted in Asturias, Spain, an area populated by the endangered European brown bear. The program ‘+BEARS –CO2’ not only enabled the registry to further contribute to its goal regarding environmentally responsibility but also supported and contributed to increased ecosystem diversity in the region.
