EURid to participate at EuroDIG 2023

We are looking forward to participate the upcoming EuroDIG 2023 conference. EuroDIG, a prominent platform for discussions on Internet governance, will take place in Tampere, Finland from June 19 to 21. During this year’s event, EURid is proud to sponsor a session in the YOUthDig program on the theme of "Reimagining Social Media." This session will delve into innovative ideas and perspectives on transforming the landscape of social media platforms.

EURid's additional contribution will include a compelling session organized by EURid's Dynamic Coalition on Data and Trust, titled "Efforts in Shaping Secure Online Environment by Various DNS Actors”. This session aims to explore the diverse approaches and motivations of stakeholders in creating a secure online environment. With a focus on self-regulatory measures adopted by registries and registrars to enhance registration data accuracy. In addition, representatives from law enforcement and cybersecurity organizations will be given the opportunity to share their viewpoints on the effectiveness and importance of these measures.

The session will be moderated by Alastair Gill, with Regina Fuchsová serving as the focal point. The distinguished panelists include Marlene Straub from CENTR, Jordi Iparraguirre from EURid, Jaromír Talířfrom CZ.NIC, Daniel Överfjord from Loopia, Bogdan Cîinaru from Europol, and Pablo Lopez-Aguilar Beltran from the Global Cyber Alliance.
